All of our Certified Home Health Aides are thoroughly screened to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients. We complete extensive reference checks as well as perform CORI (criminal history) background checks as well as driving background checks in addition to the State screening process with Adult Protective Services and Child Protective Services.
Yes. All of our Certified Home Health Aides are insured and bonded.

  • We will collect some basic information from you and perform an evaluation and assessment.
  • We will schedule an in-home or hospital on-site interview and client assessment.
  • We will design a customized Homecare Plan that meets the specific need of the client.
  • According to your payment type, we may be required to advise your doctor of our assessment and present the plan for your doctor's approval. The plan will outline key details, including treatment goals, the specific services and level of care that will be provided.
Yes, our new hire training program/orientation process is rigorous and involves some of the following topics; Safety/Hygiene, CPR, Standards of Professional Conduct, Dress Code etc. and other important topics to ensure quality service to our clients.
WellSpring Homecare accepts both Medicare and Medicaid with the required approval of the client’s physician. The physician will also authorize a treatment plan which is periodically reviewed after services are initiated. Our company will be able to assist in determining if the services that you need are covered.
We want to make the financial aspect of our services as convenient as possible. We will tailor a payment arrangement that is convenient for you and your family. Each financial transaction will be conducted securely through the WellSpring Homecare offices.
Our goal is to establish a long term relationship between the Certified Home Health Aide, the client and the client’s family. We understand that changes occur with client’s health and there may be other unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to maintain consistency with each client and have good back-up support as needed. We recognize that strong rapport and trust with our caregivers are vital to a successful home care experience.
At WellSpring Homecare Services, we make every effort to connect our caring, dedicated and compassionate staff to clients. Ultimately we want our clients to be 100% satisfied. When it comes to our caregivers, you are the decision-maker, so we will make the necessary changes to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
In the event that you need to change or discontinue service with WellSpring Homecare Services we make it easy. We understand the care situation can quickly change, so we're as flexible as possible allowing you to change/discontinue service at your discretion.
Your evaluation of care is the primary feedback we use in determining performance. Our Home Health Aides also have the responsibility to complete timesheets that are signed by the client/family member each time our services are rendered. In addition, aides must perform daily call-ins from the clients’ home and we also perform routine unscheduled on-site inspections.
While seniors are our primary focus we are able to provide services to most individuals who require homecare services.

Our rates are determined by several factors:

  1. level of home care services received
  2. number of hours per week
  3. location
  4. hourly versus daily


After our staff completes the client evaluation process you will be provided with a written rate sheet prior to services beginning. Rates will never be increased without a minimum thirty days notice.

All of our cases require a 3-hour minimum shift.
Yes, we provide twenty-four hour service. We usually break the shifts into 8 hour segments.
Our Home Health Aides are supervised by an experienced administrative team which consists of professionals from nursing, staffing, human resources and training department that provides on-going testing and training for all of our employees.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm. On week-days and weekends we have a 24-Hour Call Center that handles all of our incoming calls. This is the same phone number 617-367-1500 that anyone would call during our regular business hours which makes for a seamless transition. In addition we also have an on-call nurse and caregiver on staff in the event of an emergency.
